WHISKY TASTING

Color: Pale Gold
Price: $$
Nose: Fresh Citrus, very perfumy, underlying malt, some fresh fruit, Apples, pears, lemons and a hint of honey
Palate: Very light bodied, tinge of spice which quickly vanishes, very thin mouth feel, light oak, no bad notes but not much happening on the palate. Digging deeper- Some olong tea, and Vanilla essence
Finish: Very short, ends in a light spice. A tiny bit astringent there towards the end.
Final Thoughts:
Very thin and light. 40% ABV does not help here, this is more of a starter drink to help warm your palate. Beautiful nose but doesn't continue on to the palate. Travel retail exclusive. Works well in a Macallan ginger mule, very refreshing. Wish there was something more on the palate to explore and enjoy.
Score: 77/100
