Nose: Antiseptic Medicinal, Lemon, Citrus, More of that Surgical Spirit & the Brine shines in the backend. Very perfumy, needs some time in glass. In all fairness, The bottle has been opened for a while, so its partly oxidized and the peat has a mellowed down a bit.
Palate: Some sort of Cereal, more of that Medicinal spirit on the palate, Antiseptic, the higher proof of the spirit is known in a nice way, very heavy and viscous and some fresh fruits on the backend
Finish: Long & Lemony, ends in a lovely lemony/citrus spice. Coats the whole mouth. Very buttery, the Palate and finish very closely follows what was on the nose.
Final Thoughts:
Such a lovely dram, enjoyed every last drop if it. Brings me back some great memories of my time on Islay, looking forward for an forthcoming trip next year. Cant Wait!!
