Honestly I have not been, this excited about an Ardbeg in recent times. In my personal opinion, the subpar offerings from Ardbeg’s committee releases this last few years have been pretty abysmal, but this Ardbeg is hopefully a change to a better future.

Color: Pale Gold

Price: $

Nose: Sweet BBQ, Rich nose feel, Some sweet smoke, some figs and dates, some black coffee of sorts in the backend. Very exciting nose, like a floral BBQ bomb. I think the Master distiller nailed the nose on this for what they wanted to deliver.

Palate: The Sweet smoke continues, perfect and balanced single malt. Rich dark stone fruits, the BBQ is always present in a nice way. Extremely delicious. The BBQ meats, the fish, nothing over powers the other, its a perfect harmony.

Finish: Mid to long finish. Some spice in the end. The dram itself is not very heavy well rounded, well balanced.

ARDBEG BBQ

Final Thoughts:
Finally feels like Ardbeg has come through for its hardcore fans. Its a peat lovers paradise. BBQ Galore, perfect parings with some nice smoked meats and fish. Loving this journey with the dram every single sip. I would love to come back to this time and time again. Would definitely restock this one again, if I can find an other bottle at regular retail price.
