WHISKY TASTING

San Unfiltered Erasani

11/4/2023

Color: Deep Rich Mahogany

Price:$$$$

Nose: Rich Plums, Dried fruits, Raisins, Dark Chocolate, Light Orange peel, some Cinnamon spice, Nutmeg, Malty, Balanced Nose, Some more of that Plum cake, Dried fruit cake, maraschino cherries and some kind of Eucalyptus in the back.

Palate: Chocolate, old Leather, Not sweet, More of that balance, Old, Nothing over powering the other on the palate, a tinge of dryness sometimes, Some of that light lemon/citrus on the very back.

Finish: Intensity tapers down but has a long finish. Some wine casks influences for sure, may be some Oloroso influence in there too.

Final Thoughts:
Very Nice, You can feel the older age whiskies in here. Very balanced, Palatable ABV, would not add any more water to this once. Take your time and enjoy this drink, it does not come cheap. Not sure if i will go run and a buy an other bottle by myself, but this is where you can pool and share the bottle amongst couple friends or perhaps try it in a whisky club.

Score: 90/100
